Something nice...

I have to thank Kar Liang for this picture. He created it for me. Such nice art works should not go uncredited.

Thank you so much! I know this picture has been with me for so long. So now I am letting everyone see your nice work of art!

Thank you very much!

Christmas Spirit still lingers!

I know I am at least a day late for this entry but who cares?

I am still in the Christmas spirit! All the caroling, presents not to mention the food! I enjoyed Christmas this year cos` my friends came over and celebrate! It wasn't on Christmas day though. We had steamboat! Hahahah! We took pictures! At my house! Everyone had to wear a skirt on that day. Kinda like a party theme. Hahaha!

So that was on a Thursday if I remember cearly. We met at Bishan to buy the thing for the steamboat. I really have to thank my mother for helping cos` if she wasn't there to help, we might never have steamboat for that night. Buying stuff for steamboat was one thing and prepareing for the steamboat was another.

Thank you very much Mummy!

So we bought like tons of food! Especially the vegetables. We also bought fish balls, meat balls, cuttlefish balls, prawn balls, frankfurters, crab stick and a lot more! You guessed it right. We didn't finish the food. Hahaha!

I also have lots of pictures. Before the steamboat and after the steamboat. Besides, what can you really do with a bunch of girls at your house? Photo-whoring of cos`!

Jie Yi looks positively happy. I guess they must be watching something related to 5566. This was before the steamboat.

Then the Photo-whoring session begins!

What can I say?

Smile for the camera!

Lovely Da Jie!

Da Jie and Joycelin~

Shu Yun and Yu Naing

Group photo whoring~

Wait! I am not ready! One more time!

Much better~

Tons of glorious food!

In my house you can also indulge in a little Mahjong session.

A little more photo-whoring.

After dinner was a small little gift exchange. We even had a bottle of champainge. Peach flavoured. Hahahah! One funny thing about gift exchange is that everyone didn't know who to buy for and almost everyone was in a dilema. Maybe I should not complain cos` I think the girls are having a much more difficult time. I am the only guy in the group so they had to choose their gifts carefully. Hahaha! We drew lots to see whose present we will take. I got Da Jie's present and I love it! It is super cute!

It is Mickey! Nice! I love it! Thank you Da Jie!

Yu Naing got a really cute wallet to match her! (From Wan ying)

Wan Ying got a really cool planner from Amilia.

Da Jie got a lucky charm from Shu Yun. How thoughtful. The charm is for studies. Hahahah! Typical Singaporeans.

Roan got the most precious gift from Joycelin. A book with pictures about us.

Joycelin got my gift from Perlini's Silver. Wonder if she liked it.

Shu Yun got a pair of earrings from Shereen. A lousy attempt to act cute in front of the camera. "=.=

Jie Yi looks positively happy with her gifts from Roan. Those are premium chocolates alright! It cost bloody more than our budget.

Amilia with her towel. Looks cool. Jie Yi certainly has good taste for towels.

Finally the highlight of the night is starting. It is Shereen's birthday on Christmas day. So we bought her a gift.

Eh?! What kind of a gift is this?

Layer after layer...

After layer...

After layer...

After layer...

Finally! Look at all the newspaper!

Oei! I am not ready la! One more time!

Our presents!

Photo-whoring session again! Notice the hand gestures. One to ten! Hahahah!

The previous one was nice. So here is another one for your eyes to feast on.

Bestest of friends!

A memorable day ending with a memorable picture. Wonder if we can still keep this up after our seperation. My feet are in there too! Guess which one is it?

Merry Christmas to all!

Guess what I found?!

I was searching through my drawer for something and guess what I found? Some really old picture of me! Hahaha! Never thought I would see it again. Thought I would share it with you all!

That picture was taken in Australia. I think it was Melbourne. Can't realy remember cos I was still so young. At least I knew how heavy that damn Koala Bear was. It was scratching me like some crazy animal. Hahahah! But I liked it! So cute!

I know I dun look cute when I am young so please just enjoy the photos of the Koala Bears and not me. I really hate it when someone says I look like a girl when I am young. Totally hate that!

It really was a nostalgic trip. So memorable! Haahaa!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures as much as I did.

Now I know why...

Congrats to Xiaxue who won the best asian weblog awards 2005.

Mom and dad has already left for Shanghai long ago. My house is in a disaster. Hope everything would be cleared up by the time they come home. My brother invited some of his friends to stay over. Yeah. Xiaxue came to stay over too. Enjoyed having her around.

Recently, I went out with my friend and we went to the toilet. Guess what we saw?!

Face it girls! You all are sloooooooow creatures. They even had to put a bench there for guys who wait for their girlfriends who visits the toilet. Weird thing is, why did they put it outside the female toilet?

Females. Slowest creatures even when visiting the toilets.

Holidays are here again!

It is always easy to tell when christmas is nearing. You just turn on the television and see if they are starting to air abalone advertisments. Just be on a look out for Zoe Tay, Fann Wong or Sharon Au flashing their most charming smile and holding the can of abalone or barbecued pork. Also you might start hearing kids cheering cos` their holidays are here, for holidays means... Overseas trip!(Nope I am not generalising. Most of the people take this time to go overseas.)

Being in poly certainly has its advantages and disadvantages. Advantages such that I can easily skip school enjoy the freedom of not having the need to don a uniform. Since this world is created in duality, (or so I believe that it is.) there has to be a bad thing. Poly holidays (Hey! Let's call it poly holi [haw-lee] from now on! It rhymes!) rarely coincides with the Primary and Secondary Schools'. Thus not enabling me to go on a trip that easily.

As luck would have had it, my term break falls on the 16th of December 2005 to the 1st of January 2006. Sigh~ All good things must come to an end. Someone up there certainly does not like me and is conspiring against me. We searched for a tour that would fit our family schedule and yet there were none! Can you believe that?! I mean, what is this?! Can you just imagine how many of my readers will feel so sad when they do not have anything interesting to read when they visit?! Can you feel my pain?!

Mom and Dad are still trying very hard to find some way to get of this puny little island which I love so dearly. I really appreciate their effort and thought. They feel really bad when they could not accomplish what they promised us. I was so happy when they said we were going to Taiwan for a holiday. I really wanted to go to the hot springs. Argh! Imagine it is the cold and frigid winter and I am relaxing in the hot springs. What an enjoyment it would be. Now all that has vanished, I guess I have to go for a substitute good. Namely, filling up the bathtub with hot water and go wading in it. Maybe install an air-conditioner inside so I can get as close as possible to Taiwan as it is the winter season there.

Now since that there isn't any tour for me to go on, I shall bring you, my readers for a tour! A tour of my house! Hahahaha! Bear with me cos` I really wanted to go for a trip. Besides, I have been wanting to post pictures of my house on my blog long ago. Hahahahaha! So here goes! (Try imaginating that you are at my house... Makes the whole blog entry more fun to read.) :)

So, you are at the door of my house. You reached for the doorbell but hesitated cos` you are wondering how my house would look like. Sounds of children laughter at the void deck broke your thought and you pressed the doorbell. In an instance, the door swung open and you saw me.

Ok. That paragraph up there was lame. When you are at my door, peering through the gates, you would see this.

Nice huh? It is some kinda art work. Using different kinds of wood and joining them together to make art. Hahaha! Before we continue, some of the things in my house has a very old heritage. Some of the stuff are even older than me. I'll show them later.

Moving on. From that art piece, when you look to the left, it is the living room, where the living people live. Hahahaha!

You know, some houses have two levels. My house also has two levels.

About 0.5 inches high! Hahahahaha! That area behind the couch is actually for us to sit and mingle. It hasn't really been used correctly except that I used to mug there for my O's. The platform is made of wood. Kinda cool huh?

Taking position from the art piece again, you look to the right and you will see this.

That area leads to the bedrooms and kitchen. Sorry that I am not gonna show the bedrooms cos` my bedroom is in a huge mess. So let us go to the kitchen.

I love my kitchen! I spend many a good time there eating and munching on tidbits. Hahahaha! The refrigerator! Is huge! Holds lots of food! Not to mention that there is an ice and water dispenser! Hahahaha!

Yeah. That kinda concludes the end of the tour. I am too ashamed to show you the bedrooms. It is really messy. It is almost like stepping into the wilderness. If you drop your keys or pencil in my room, you might never be able to recover it.

Remember me telling you about how some of the things in my house is older than me? Hahaha! Here are some of them.

This pot and the stool that the pot is sitting on are waaaaaaay older than me. I have no idea where it came from but I do know that it was in my house since I was born. I often ask my dad where it came from, but I really have not gotten an answer.

I am sure all of you have seen phones like this. This is another object which is older than me. This thing was passed down from my dad's side of the family. Imagine you are in an emergency and you want to dial 999. Hahahaha!

One of my favourite appliances in the kitchen. Yup. Older than me. It shows how durable it is. It is still working in almost perfect condition. From my old house till now. Surprising. Yeah. It is clean la!

This plant is called the money plant. (At least that is what I think it is called.) This dates way back to even before my brother was born. That means it is at least 21 years old! Have you ever kept a plant that long?!

Finally, the oldest thing in my house.

These are stamps. These stamps are the stamps for my father's grandfather shop. They once opened a jewellery shop. It is at least a century old. Amazing! Hahahah! Weird huh? I never knew I had such things at home.

I have a cool house. Do you know why?

I really want to go to Taiwan and the hot springs!
