Finally! I am back. I feel great from my haitus status. I am going to resume blogging now. For those who has been waiting for that post, please pardon me as I have to postpone it. Will get it done soon. As for today, I am happy to announce that I am finally seventeen! Just one more year to go!
I am now waiting for my photos to load so jus be patient while I explain a lil` about my family life. Every year, my family will celebrate each other's birthday by going out to dinner of their choice. So this year, I picked a restaurant that we have not been there since the last time my brother graduated from Primary 6. That means I have not been there for at least TEN years! I was around Primary 2 when I last went there. That restaurant has always been special for me as whenever in the past we have a celebration, my father would bring us there.
So it was a surprise when I said I wanted to eat there, my dad was a little shocked. That dear old dad of mine was to thoughtful that he went all the way there to check if the restaurant is still open, since it has been TEN long years and we didn't know if the business has wounded up. I was really glad that it is still opened.
The restaurant is called Hilltop restaurant. For it is located at the top of a hill in Singapore. It is near Jurong Bird Park. Being up so high, the view isn't that bad either. It was just too bad that it lacked the cold foggy air that Genting possesses. The pictures are finally uploaded so here it is.
It is dark so pardon the blur pictures. You have to believe me that the view is really breathtaking. It almost makes you feel that there isn't such a place in Singapore.
The entrance.
The stairways to heaven. Lol~ I am joking! The stais to the restaurant.
Nice furnishing isn't it?
Now on to the food! The food are the best! I can still remember the taste TEN years ago and this time I ate it, it was still as heavenly as ever!
Before we started eating, we had to wear that bib. Makes me look like a big baby! Hahahaha!
First up! Garlic Rice. This is the best Garlic rice I ever had. They actually have garlic in it! The hot piping aroma! Wow!
This was another variety. I think is it called the olive oil with something-I-don't-know-what Rice. Nice too!
Teppanyaki begins!
Deer meat. I think. Can't remember. Why not have a barrage of photos?! Ready? Let's go!
Enough?! More?
Rice wine! Sake! Nice!
I think that is enough isn't it? I am sure you are all thinking how much do the food cost huh?
Not too expensive and not cheap either.
I wanna say thanks to my parents who made it all happened! Thank you so much!
Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthday to me!
I am finally seventeen!! One more year to go before I can go clubbing!!
